Well a year has gone by. Our little Katie turned 1 yesterday. We went to the Macaroni Grill cause we thought it would be fun for her to make a complete mess of all her food and Italian is easy to do that with. Our waiter was so cool. He brought her out a huge piece of chocolate cake with ice cream and had an amazing singer sing to her in Italian. She loved it. She gets so shy though. She kept burying her face in my neck and would look at him from the corner of her eye. At the end of it she clapped for him. After we went to my moms for cake and to celebrate with some other friends. She got some clothes and the toy
thats in her lap in the picture. Its Elmo that she can sing with. She was going through all the songs and dancing to them.
She is now talking more. She will
mimc all the noises we make with the cats and try to say all the words we say to her. She is starting to walk a few steps but only if she wants Adam or me and we wont let her crawl. Talk about attitude though. She has already mastered the art of throwing tantrums. I wonder who that comes from.

Yeah for one year! That is crazy how fast time goes! It is my niece's birthday today, so it is just a week full of celebration. Give Katie a big birthday kiss from me. P.S. We need to get together to play sometime. We don't live that far apart! Love you!!!
